Kids Yoga & Therapeutic Yoga at Palo Santo Wellness!

I am excited to announce that I have recently joined the team of therapists at Palo Santo Wellness, where we are dedicated to helping you live a healthier and happier life while growing in the awareness of the integration of your body, mind and spirit! Palo Santo is one of the only private clinics in Tucson that offers low-cost, sliding scale therapy. If you don’t have insurance or can’t find a therapist through your insurance, please contact us at (520) 539-6455.

 

Beginning in July, On Sundays and Mondays, I will be offering the following small group Yoga Therapy classes in the Community Room at Palo Santo Wellness; which is located at 3045 N. 1st Avenue, Suite A, Tucson, AZ

HATHA YOGA FOR TRAUMA WITH TRE® - SUMMER SERIES  

4 Sundays, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, & 7/30,

10:30-11:45am (75 minutes)

*Limited to 5 participants per session, Must Pre-Register, $15/session or $50 full series 

In this Therapeutic Yoga class you will experience a blend of Hatha Yoga, trauma & tension releasing exercises (TRE®), and self-induced therapeutic tremoring (SITT®); all techniques proven to help in releasing excess stress and tension from within the body. The class will conclude with a guided relaxation to ease the mind, body, and spirit from the effects of trauma, pain and suffering.  

 YOGA FOR KIDS - SUMMER SERIES

4 Sundays, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, & 7/30

12-12:45pm  (45 minutes)

*Limited to 10 participants per session, Must Pre-Register, $7/session or $20 full series 

 In this Kids Yoga series children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will improve strength, flexibility, and coordination as they learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, yoga games, and basic anatomy.

 HATHA & RESTORATIVE YOGA FOR DEPRESSION

3 Mondays, 7/17 & 8/14, & 9/11

5:30-6:45pm  (75 minutes)

*Limited to 5 participants per session, Must Pre-Register, $15/session, $35 Full Series

In this Therapeutic Yoga class you will experience a blend of Hatha & Restorative Yoga practices to empower your mind, body, & spirit. The class will conclude with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation, an ancient practice proven to ease the effects of depression and relieve suffering. 

 RESTORATIVE & GENTLE YOGA FOR ANXIETY

3 Mondays, 7/31 & 8/28, & 9/25 5:30-6:45pm  (75 minutes)

*Limited to 5 participants per session, Must Pre-Register, $15/session, $35 Full Series

In this Therapeutic Yoga class you will experience a blend of Restorative, Gentle and Yoga Nidra practices proven to help ease the mind, body, and spirit from the effects of tension and stress and to alleviate the symptoms of anxiety.

Announcing NEW CLASS OFFERINGS starting in May!


It's sure been quite the season of change and the purpose of all this universal shifting has been to steer each of us in the direction of our life's deepest passion and highest purpose. 

When we embrace the process of letting go and allow our hearts and minds to be open to all that awaits us, it can at times be unsettling, but much like the first sight of a spring bloom, it's well worth the patience to watch your journey unfold with grace and beauty. 

And as the saying goes..."April showers bring May flowers..."

I'm excited to announce these NEW Yoga Love offerings, with intentional focus on specific areas of HEALING for each unique offering! 


Yoga for Stress & Anxiety-
This class will be offered at $10 drop-in and passes will be available. 

This offering is for any individual seeking relief from the stresses of daily life and from the mental, physical and emotional effects these stresses bring to our bodies, minds and spirits.  

We will meet once weekly to practice yoga techniques such as asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and dyhana (meditation)


Women's Yoga for Healing-
This class will be offered at $10 drop-in and passes will be available. 

This offering is for women only, with an intentional focus on healing oneself by aligning one's body with the rhythm and cycles of nature through the practice of yoga techniques such as asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and dhyana (meditation).  

We will meet twice monthly to support one another on this evolutionary journey. 


Yoga for PTSD & Trauma -
This class will be offered at $10 drop-in and passes will be available. 

This offering is for any individual who has suffered from PTSD or any mental, physical or emotional trauma in life. We will practice yoga techniques such as asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and dhyana (meditation). 

We will meet twice monthly to support one another on this healing journey.

Empower Tucson Yoga offers on-site, group or individual, yoga classes for various types of business and organizations in the City of Tucson and surrounding areas. We are committed to integrating the values and benefits of yoga study and practice into professional life.
