With quiet enthusiasm, she shares a poem, a passage from a book, a mudra, a meditation or insight; she encourages releasing the old and setting a new intention; she guides you through a practice that stretches and strengthtens while also helping with individual adjustments. She even provides a guest guitarist whose soft music blends into the flow of the class. Tiffany is a terrific yoga teacher. Her passion for yoga is obvious and her enthusiasm is inspiring. She really connects with her students on an individual level. She incorporates much insight about the spiritual and physical benefits of yoga practice, while making the class a fun experience.
During this phase of my life I have turned to Yoga to bring calm to my mind and body. I was fortunate enough to get to know Tiffany through my practice at Tucson Yoga. Tiffany guides my Yoga practice from a kind, loving heart. Having had many Yoga instructors (some indifferent) I can honestly say her loving manner and patient, non-judgmental approach has been incredibly helpful along my Yoga path. Because of Tiffany’s Yoga guidance, I feel much more calm and accepting of life’s little surprises. I am going through a difficult menopause and it has helped me accept and deal with the wild hormonal fluctuations that go along with it. In addition (and most wonderfully), Tiffany’s kind practice has helped me curb a life-long and unhealthy sugar addiction. I truly look forward to each and every opportunity to practice with her.

I started taking Tiffany's hot yoga classes about a year ago, and have since taken her yin and flow classes. She is a caring, attentive instructor who conveys warmth and wisdom in her teaching style. She learns her students' names and offers adjustments accordingly, and always challenges her students to try new things--sometimes things they didn't realize they were capable of! Whether melting out stress in a power flow class or turning my focus inward in a yin practice, I always leave Tiffany's classes feeling inspired and clear-headed, and like I have learned something that I can use both on and off the mat.
Every time I had done yoga in the past, I hated it. During my last year of school I went through some tough times and my friend Becca recommended that I try a heated class at 4th avenue yoga. I was hesitant but decided to give it a try. I went to your Sundayclass at noon and it was one of the best decisions I had ever made. My favorite thing about your classes and about you as an instructor is that you focus on mental and emotional aspects of yoga, not just physical. You make yoga about so much more than a workout.
You find a wonderful balance of encouraging people to be better (both at yoga and just as people in general) without too much pressure of being able to do certain poses. You make sure there are variations for all levels. Your classes significantly improved my physical and mental health. You are such a kind and caring person and you are genuinely invested in your students. Your enthusiasm and attitude during every class show your students you whole heartedly believe in and love yoga. I love that you encourage us to participate in things like the 30 days of love.
You gave me so much insight on meditation and how to actively meditate. Your recommendation to read meditations from the mat was one of the best things that has happened to me. That book has greatly influenced my life.
Even though I was only able to take your classes for a few months before I graduated and moved, the lessons I have learned from you have changed me completely and I will never forget them. I miss you and your classes everyday and I hope someday soon I will get to take one of your classes again.
I walked into my first class with Tiffany a little bit nervous because I never know how new teachers will approach assisting their students. I have suffered injuries in the past due to harsh assists from people who I had never met until I entered their class. Tiffany handles her assists with great care and tenderness, so my nervousness quickly subsided and I was able to relax and thoroughly enjoy my class.
Totally enjoyed our class this evening. Came away feeling really good, happy, refreshed. You have such a big heart and are so generous. Your enthusiasm for the whole of yoga, the spiritual benefits, the kindness/giving is a delight. I am a triathlete. I like to swim, bike run, sweat and get down and dirty. I never would have thought I would have included yoga in my training regime. Almost a year ago, my daughter, Steph, who was already well into yoga invited me to a class. Shortly after that day I followed her to a class of Tiffany's. I was hooked! Yoga, first of all, was not what I thought it was. I had taken a few classes over the years at different places, all the time wishing I was in the pool; this was different. Tiffany put so much passion into the practice, that soon I could call myself a yogi (well, a beginner, anyhow). I started becoming a weekly follower to her Sunday practice. Then I started realizing that not only did I feel the inspiration, the intention, and the kindness and meditative side of yoga, but something else happened. I saw my body become stronger, my running becoming faster and my balance better, and I had an increased sense of knowing my body. Tiffany always takes the time to show how to safely get into a pose and always discusses any questions or concerns after class. This was it. I am a yogi for life and I have to thank Tiffany for keeping it real, happily instructing every student who comes to her class, keeping it challenging. I look forward to all my practices with Tiffany and now I would not only call her a yoga instructor, but call her a friend.
We all need that quiet time get away. I have found that with Tiffany. My mind over thought it at first, but I stayed with it. To my amazement, it did me wonders, it put my over thinking mind to rest. It gave me much needed answers. The beauty is....it's all in me already....Yoga just gives you a vehicle to come to terms within yourself and let go. I have been practicing with Tiffany for over a year now and continue to enjoy it even more each time. I have tried many different yoga classes over the past 15 years and have never found a teacher who speaks to me like Tiffany. Every practice reminds me to let go, receive and be thankful. Yin Yoga has always been hard for me to get into because I like to sweat and move when I do yoga, but your class has changed my outlook on Yin. The candlelight, the live music, your soothing voice and gentle massage has made Yin Yoga something I truly look forward to. After going to your Wednesdayclass for multiple weeks, my body is more flexible than it ever has been. I find myself in yoga positions I didn't think possible. It's an incredible class.
