"We must be the change we wish to see in the world" ~Mahatma Gandhi
I began my career in health & wellness in 2004 upon my graduation from Pima Community College with my Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. I have always had a passion for empowering others to cultivate a more mindful way of living. In 2008, I was introduced to yoga and I fell in love! Yoga drew me in deeper and deeper, just as we are gradually drawn into our postures or asanas upon building our yoga practice. Not only did I fall in love with the challenging physical aspect, but also the intense spiritual practice it offers my heart & soul.
My personal practice has helped me to overcome the many obstacles life has presented me with such as; naturally balancing my hormones, providing migraine prevention and relief, resolving digestive issues, as well as offering mental focus and overall physical wellness. My path led me to Arizona School of Yoga, where I obtained my 200 hour teaching certification in Vinyasa Yoga. I recently completed an additional 300 hour certification through Inner Vision Yoga's Healing Emphasis Yoga Therapy training program and received my Yoga Therapy certification with the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Throughout this journey I confidently empower my students to experience their bodies with attention and nurture. I am grateful for the beautiful changes yoga has cultivated in my own life and I love sharing my experience in hopes to impact the lives of others. Yoga is my ever-increasing love affair with mindful movement. Please join me on this Yoga Love journey.
